What Is the Proper Way to Practice Hairstroke Brows?

When learning hairstroke brows, everyone understands the importance of practicing basic drawing skills. But how exactly should these be practiced?

1️⃣ The first common method is to flick the stroke from the bottom upward using a light-heavy-light pressure technique. However, the issue with this approach is that it does not reflect the proper stroke movement in a real procedure.

2️⃣ The second mistake is starting with a dull point, which results in stiff, rigid strokes that lack fluidity.

3️⃣ The third mistake occurs when the stroke ends too abruptly, making it difficult to execute smoothly on real skin.

4️⃣ The fourth issue arises when applying too much pressure, which can cause the pigment to penetrate too deeply into the skin.

So, what is the correct technique? The proper way to practice is to flick and sweep the strokes slowly and evenly from top to bottom. Use only your index and middle fingers while keeping your thumb relaxed. Mastering the correct hairstroke technique will help you progress much faster.
